How does it work?

Bring your item(s) to be sold to a Mel-co "Drop Spot", complete a consignment form, and your work is done.

Mel-Co handles the entire on-line auction sale process. We will photograph your item, write a professional description, run the auction, answer questions from potential bidders, communicate with the purchaser, collect the payment, package and ship the purchase, and send you a check.

You do not have to coordinate advertising, conduct garage sales, run ads in the local paper, answer the telephone, or even think about the sales process. If you want to watch your item sell, you simply log onto eBay, and watch the activity under seller name Mel-co.

Photo's sell!

A picture is worth a thousand words, and on eBay pictures sell. That is why we include a minimum of 5 photos with each item we offer on eBay. Bidders can see many angles of an item. The ability to see what they are bidding on delivers the confidence to bid higher. Every listing includes a "gallery" photo as well, allowing bidders on eBay to see the item more readily.

Confidentiality

Mel-co respects your privacy, and will never post any information about you, the seller. We handle all communication with prospective bidders and customers.

Payment to Consignors

Once each week, we generate sales reports, and mail checks to those consignors whose items have sold.
